Behind the Scent
There is no lime in Sunday Lime.
In the Caribbean, liming is the art of spending time doing absolutely nothing in particular. A few chairs, a game of dominoes, somebody passing something cold around. Hours disappear. Nobody seems especially concerned.
It's a wonderful thing to make a perfume about.
We started with the idea of vanilla within a sea scape.
Vanilla is generally a warm, dense material in perfumery. Salt suggests open air, mineral surfaces, cool water, and skin.
Sunday Lime lives somewhere between the two. Liming.
Salty air and mineral water give the opening a cool, almost transparent quality. White jasmine and ylang ylang bring a little floral warmth, while amber crème adds softness. The vanilla arrives later, grounding and barely sweet, alongside smoky driftwood, warm linen, and musk.
Think of eating a scoop of vanilla ice cream beachside. The salt in the air seems to find its way into every bite. It's still vanilla, of course, but somehow more interesting.
Sunday Lime is our version of that improbable combination.

How do I wear Sunday Lime?
Spray on pulse points, where your body gives off heat: wrists, neck and behind the ears. Fragrance lasts longer on soft, hydrated skin, so apply after a bath or shower over an unscented moisturizer. Let it dry on its own. Don't rub your wrists together, as it shortens wear time.
When should I wear it?
Reach for it for a slow morning, a weekend outing or an everyday moment when you’re in the mood for salt, air and soft vanilla.
