Returns & Exchanges Policy

We believe in transparency and fairness. Please read this policy in full before initiating a return — it is designed to protect the integrity of our products and the experience of every customer we serve.

BEFORE YOU BUY

Fragrance is deeply personal. We created our Discovery Kit so you can explore every scent before committing to full size — this is the experience we recommend for any new customer. Because we stand behind the integrity of our products, opened fragrances are not eligible for return based on scent preference.


01  Return Eligibility

Unopened, unused merchandise purchased directly from ouithepeople.com may be returned within 14 days of delivery, provided the item meets all of the following conditions:

  • Tamper-evident seal is fully intact and unbroken

  • Product is in original, sealed packaging

  • Item arrives in the same condition as shipped


Any item that appears opened, resealed, tampered with, or shows signs of use — regardless of the original seal — will not be accepted. We reserve the right to decline returns and return the item at the customer's expense.

Final sale — not eligible for return or exchange: Discovery Kits, Individual samples, Limited edition items, Promotional items, Gift cards, International orders.

 

02  How to Start a Return

Contact our Customer Care team via the Contact Us form and include your order number to request a return. Once approved, you will receive a prepaid return shipping label. Returns must be shipped within 7 days of approval. Returns shipped outside of this window may not be accepted. 


We do not accept returns initiated more than 14 days after delivery. Requests submitted without approval or outside the 7-day shipment window will be declined.

03  Return Handling Fees

A flat return handling fee of $12, which includes prepaid return shipping, will be deducted from all approved returns. Original shipping charges are non-refundable.

Approved refunds are processed within 7–10 business days of receiving your return.

04  Damaged or Defective Items

If your order arrives damaged, defective, or incorrect, please contact Customer Care within 48 hours of delivery and include:

  • Photos and videos of the product and packaging

  • Your order number


Requests without documentation cannot be processed. If a confirmed defect or warehouse error is verified, we will issue a replacement or store credit at our discretion.

05  Exchanges

We don’t offer direct exchanges. If you’d like a different product, please process an eligible return and place a new order. Return Handling fees apply unless the return is due to a confirmed defect or a warehouse error.

We always recommend using the Discovery Kit to find your perfect scent before purchasing a full-size — it exists precisely for this reason.

06  Third-Party Purchases

Products purchased through third-party retailers — including Sephora, Amazon, or Nordstrom — cannot be returned or exchanged through Oui the People. Please contact the original retailer directly.

07  Order Cancellations

Orders may be eligible for cancellation within 24 hours of purchase by contacting Customer Care with “Order Cancellation” and your order number in the subject line. Please note that cancellations are not guaranteed, and once an order has entered processing or shipment, it can no longer be canceled.

08  Policy Updates

This policy is subject to change. We encourage you to review it before making a purchase. Continued use of ouithepeople.com constitutes acceptance of the current policy.
