Shipping & Returns
We believe in transparency and fairness. Please read these policies carefully before placing an order or initiating a return. They are designed to protect the integrity of our products while ensuring every customer receives the highest standard of care.
Shipping Policy
We currently offer complimentary U.S. shipping on orders over $75 before taxes and after discounts are applied.
Available shipping methods, rates, and estimated delivery windows are shown at checkout based on the shipping address and order contents.
Orders typically ship within 1–3 business days, excluding weekends, holidays, and carrier service interruptions. During launches, promotions, or peak periods, processing may take longer.
Once your order ships, you'll receive tracking information by email. Tracking updates are provided by the shipping carrier and may take up to 24 hours to appear.
Once a package has been marked as delivered by the shipping carrier, OUI the People is not responsible for lost or stolen packages. If you believe your package has been lost, please contact Customer Care. We'll gladly assist in initiating a carrier investigation where applicable.
For international orders, duties, taxes, customs fees, and carrier brokerage fees may be assessed by the destination country or carrier. These charges are the customer's responsibility unless otherwise stated at checkout.
Due to customs regulations and shipping restrictions, all international orders are final sale.
Returns Policy
Fragrance is deeply personal, which is why we created our Discovery Kit. We encourage first-time fragrance customers to experience the collection before purchasing a full-size bottle.
Because fragrance preference is subjective, opened fragrances cannot be returned based on scent preference.
Unopened merchandise purchased directly from ouithepeople.com may be returned within 14 days of delivery.
The delivery date is determined by the shipping carrier's tracking information.
To be eligible for a return, all of the following conditions must be met:
- The factory-applied tamper-evident seal remains fully intact and unbroken.
- The product is returned in its original sealed packaging.
- The item is returned in the same condition in which it was shipped.
Once the tamper-evident seal has been broken, the item is considered opened and is no longer eligible for return.
Any item that appears opened, resealed, tampered with, damaged, or shows signs of use will not be accepted. We reserve the right to refuse any return that does not meet these requirements and may return the item to the customer at the customer's expense.
Eligible items from multi-item orders may be returned individually provided they meet all return requirements.
The following items are final sale and are not eligible for return or exchange:
- Discovery Kits
- Individual fragrance samples
- Limited-edition products
- Promotional or complimentary items
- Gift cards
- International orders
To request a return, please contact our Customer Care team at hey@ouithepeople.com and include your order number.
Once your return has been approved, you'll receive a prepaid return shipping label.
Approved returns must be postmarked within 7 days of receiving your return authorization. Returns submitted after this period may not be accepted.
We cannot approve return requests submitted more than 14 days after delivery.
A flat $12 return handling fee will be deducted from approved refunds. This fee covers prepaid return shipping, inspection, and restocking.
Original shipping charges are non-refundable.
Once your return has been received and inspected, refunds are typically processed within 7–10 business days to the original payment method.
If returning an order causes it to no longer qualify for a promotional offer or complimentary gift, the promotional item must also be returned in new, unused condition or its retail value may be deducted from the refund.
If your order arrives damaged, defective, or incorrect, please contact Customer Care within 48 hours of delivery.
Please include:
- Your order number
- Photos of the shipping box
- Photos and/or videos clearly showing the product and the issue
Claims submitted without supporting documentation may not be processed.
If we confirm a manufacturing defect or fulfillment error, we'll provide an appropriate resolution, which may include a replacement, refund, or store credit.
We do not offer direct exchanges.
If you'd like a different product, please return your eligible item and place a new order.
Return handling fees apply unless the return is the result of a confirmed manufacturing defect or fulfillment error.
If you're shopping our fragrances for the first time, we always recommend starting with our Discovery Kit before purchasing a full-size bottle.
Products purchased through third-party retailers—including Sephora, Amazon, Nordstrom, or any other authorized retailer—cannot be returned or exchanged through OUI the People.
All returns, exchanges, and customer service requests must be handled through the original retailer and are subject to that retailer's policies.
We begin processing orders quickly so they can reach you as soon as possible.
If you'd like to cancel an order, please contact Customer Care immediately.
While we'll always do our best to accommodate your request, cancellations cannot be guaranteed once an order has entered processing or has shipped.
We may update this policy from time to time without prior notice.
The version published on ouithepeople.com at the time of purchase governs your order. Continued use of our website constitutes acceptance of the current policy.
